The 6th Military-Oldtimer-Meet in Argovian Birmenstorf is history. At the weekend of 9th to 11th August 2013 the village on the river Reuss once again became the international meeting point of military old-timers. 20,000 visitors as well as 1,000 participants with over 600 vehicles from all over Switzerland and numerous European countries did Convoy the honor of their participation.

Highlights: The airshow of Patrouille Suisse, 27 tanks in action, bikers’ meet, 21 militaryhistoric groups and the legendary Convoy-Parade through Fricktal. And, of course, the visit by our President of the Swiss Confederation, Ueli Maurer.

Two top notch bands offered thrilling entertainment: Münchner Zwietracht, the best Octoberfest band in the world and the Original Glenn Miller Orchestra from Holland with their leader Will Salden.

As a whole,  the mega event took place to the satisfaction of the organizing committee: pleased visitors and participants, plenty of rarities, no incidents worth mentioning, big media coverage, excellent weather over all three days. The organizing committee would like to thank all visitors, participants, helpers and authorities who did their parts to ensure the success of the event.
